Our group of older women recently had a fabulous day with Rachel, casting for trout in an isolated country stream in the Waikato   
We were all kitted out in the best quality, appropriate gear before Rachel guided us, all novices, through the rudiments of trout fishing on a quiet hillside near the stream before entering the water. It was truly a fabulous day and one I hope to repeat before long- Antoinette Ankersmit

Rachel is a skilled and entertaining communicator. To watch her quietly casting downstream later was a stunning sight with the line artistically flowing through the air. Why didn’t my line work like that?!!? I guess more practice is needed, and I, for one, am looking forward to it.

Our son has been ‘absent’ in school sport. Rachel’s work with him, teaching him more about fly fishing has completely lifted his confidence. He is now pestering us to take him fishing (which is a good thing!!!!!), and we love that he has made friends with some other fishing mates - JM

When I saw our girls together, it was like they were born to fish. [Daughter] had never ever picked up a rod, let alone been uncomfortable trying something new. She came home and would not shut up about the fish, the fins, the food, and how to find fish. Since your workshop, she has taken us back to show us the river she has fished and, for Christmas, asked for a Hunting and Fishing voucher to buy her own rod. - PD

Our team loved our two days with Rachel on the river. Her approach to teamwork, leadership learning and her ability to bring people together are true skills. The fishing was nearly an extra bonus. How often do you see your team learning, laughing and loving life so hard, they cannot contain themselves. We are definitely booking in next year for our office [re]treat! Thank you Rachie!!
